Aju Mbaise preparation and cooking:
Step 1 – Put the wrap under running water for a few seconds to remove dust, DO NOT loosen it.
Step 2 – Put in a bigger pot
Step 3 – Pour about 2 – 2.5 litres of water enough to cover the Aju mbaise.
Step 4 – Add the cooking spices (optional) , do not wash because they are in their edible form.
Step 5 – Cook for 30 minutes to bring out it’s coffee colour.
Step 6 – Sieve the water in a cup and drink hot
Boil the complete pack for 3-5 days, extract the water and store in a bottle refrigerate or add fresh water and boil again, heat tea up consuming.
For best results repeat steps 2 – 6 twice, however you can boil for up to three times but the effects of this extract will be minimal.
